Israeli & American youth ages 16-18
July 6 - August 8, 2008
Join Shorashim for the experience of
a lifetime! Travel with Israeli peers and learn
about Israel through their eyes. Take this dynamic
journey through Poland and Israel. Leave the
tour bus behind. Become a part of the experience that is Israel!
For four days in Poland, explore Jewish life before the Holocaust.
Hear stories about growing up Jewish in Eastern Europe
as well as many personal memories.
In Israel, you are joined by Israeli peers and together you experience
the awesome adventure of Israel. Hike in some
of the most spectacular settings in Israel; be a part
of the vibrant culture of Modern Israel. Learn about
how your
Israeli friends feel about politics, the army, music,
movies, and more. Create friendships that will last a
lifetime!
Program Highlights include:
- Hiking and camping
- Rappelling, snorkeling, and jeeping
 Climbing Masada- Floating in the Dead Sea
- Visiting the Kotel (Western Wall) and Yad Vashem
- Home Hospitality with Israelis
- Training at an army base
