THURSDAY, JULY 21 – JEWISH MYSTICISM AND SPIRITUALITY
Hike up Mount Meron
Tzfat Visit this ancient city, home to Jewish mysticism- Kaballah.
Mystical Artist of Tzfat-- Avraham Loewenthal Learn about Kabalistic art, Jewish spirituality & mysticism.
Kayak down the Jordan River
Hula Lake Go for a bike ride around this beautiful lake and nature preserve.

Kineret Cemetery At the shores of the Kineret, learn about two great poets of Israel; “Rachel the Poetess” and song writer and singer Naomi Shemer. Israelis share some of their poems and songs with you.

MONDAY, JULY 25 – JEWISH LEARNING/JEWISH MEMORY
Yad Vashem Israel’s Holocaust Memorial on Mt. Herzl. Experience the way Holocaust memory is preserved in Israel. American and Israeli participants share their personal connections to the Holocaust with one another.
Knesset Visit the building where Israel’s laws are made and policy is debated.
Hebrew University Visit one of Israel’s prestigious universities in Jerusalem.
Western Wall Visit the Kotel for the first time at night and leave a written message in the wall.

TUESDAY, JULY 26- FROM THE OLD CITY TO THE MODERN CITY
Tour of the Old City Learn about the history of the Jewish Quarter and visit the Kotel.
Independence Hall Visit the site where David Ben Gurion declared the Independence of the State of Israel. Learn about the challenges and emotions of that historic moment.
Rabin Square Learn about the life and legacy of Israel’s Former Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. Israelis share with you their memories of his assassination and discuss the importance of his legacy.
