Camp Kef

 

Camp Kef is designed to strengthen connections between American and Israeli youth and their families, and to reinforce Hebrew and English skills through the biligual interaction of children and staff. The camp is based at Kibbutz Ramat Rachel in Jerusalem and will include a hot kosher lunch.

Campers enjoy both the traditional adventure and activities of day camp, as well as the Shorashim challenge of discovering Israel.

  • Drama

Camp Schedule:
Camp runs from Sunday, July 4 to Thursday, July 29; drop off is at 8:30 a.m. and pickup is at 3:30 p.m. (early drop off and late pickup are available, please inquire).

Hot Lunch and two snacks will be provided on regular camp days. On trip days campers will bring a packed lunch.

Groups will be divided by age. Our staff to camper ratio is 1:6.

  • Each group will have at least one senior and one junior madrich.
  • Our camp staff are dynamic and experienced camp educators.
  • There will be a medic and security guard with us at all times.

  • Music
  • “Chugim” – Specialty Activities

Detailed information including weekly educational themes, the daily schedule, tyulim (trips) and special “all camp” days will be available June 8.
