Shalom from Israel, we've finally made it!!We were warmly greeted by the Israelis when we first got here! It was awesome having total strangers come up and greet us! we were singing songs and getting to know each other in the airport while we were waiting for the other half of our trip from Spain. Now we're all together and are leaving Sdot Yam where we talked a little bit about the trip while overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, which was GORGEOUS! Now we on our way to our first Kibbutz.

Shabbat in Barcelona

       It's sunday! We're on the way back to Madrid for our flight to Israel. I can't believe our trip through Spain is nearly over. Friday afternoon, we walked around  Barcelona and saw some awesome Gaudi buildings. Segura Familia was incredible and giant. For Shabbat, we went to a Sephardic synagogue in Barcelona and then had a delicious dinner there. We were back for the next morning for services again and lunch. We were lucky to be there for a shabbat when there was a Bar Mitzvah in the community.
